Percoter introduces the new C-45M slat as standard: more quality in each blind

High density C-45M curved slat for Percoter Mini and Compact blinds

Expiring years in the sector does not mean staying the same, but evolve. In it 40 anniversary of Percoter we take an important step in our philosophy of continuous improvement: we incorporate the new curved blade C-45M as a reference in our Mini and Compact blind systems (Monoblock).

It is not a simple model change. It is a real technical improvement that raises the overall level of the blind. Why, although many times it is not perceived with the naked eye, The quality of a roller blind depends largely on the element that works the most each day: the lick.

A more demanding standard

There are profiled slats on the market that correctly fulfill their basic function.. However, when we analyze the behavior over the years—temperature, wind, daily use or stability of the cloth—clear differences appear between a standard slat and a higher quality one.

For this reason we have decided that the C-45M is no longer an option but has become our new standard.. The goal is simple: that all our blinds offer superior performance from day one and throughout their useful life.

Measurable technical improvement

The new C-45M slat improves in all relevant parameters compared to the one previously used.

Higher polyurethane density: 140 kg/m³ in front of 85-90 kg/m³

Interior polyurethane is not just a filler: acts as a structural core. The higher the density:

  • More thermal insulation
  • More acoustic absorption
  • Greater resistance to deformation
  • Less structural aging
  • Better fit between slats, reducing light leaks

Greater weight per square meter: 2,22 kg/m² in front of 2,00 kg/m²

This increase provides:

  • Greater cloth stability
  • Less vibration with wind
  • More consistent and robust operation
  • Less component fatigue
  • More uniform closure between profiles

A more uniform closure and less passage of light

One of the aspects that the end user most appreciates is the actual darkening of the room.. Many blinds lower completely but allow small lines of light to pass between slats over time..

This happens when the profile loses rigidity or its geometry does not remain stable.. The greater structural density of the C-45M allows for a more precise fit between slats, achieving:

  • best closure
  • reduction of light leaks
  • greater comfort in bedrooms
  • better fitting blind feel

It is an improvement that is not seen in the technical sheet, but it is perceived every night.

Benefits in Mini and Compact systems

The C-45M slat is mainly used in our Mini and Compact systems (Monoblock).

The practical result is clear:

  • The blind goes down straighter
  • Reduces night noises due to dilations
  • Improves interior comfort
  • Reduces engine effort
  • Darkens the room better by minimizing light passages
  • Increases the useful life of the entire system

In other words: not only improves the slat, improves the entire blind.

Royal quality, not just aesthetics

Many improvements in the sector are visible: colors, finishes or design. However, The ones that really make the difference are the ones that affect daily functioning.

The user perceives it in a simple way:

  • Smoother climb
  • Better inner darkness
  • Feeling of greater robustness
  • More stable indoor temperature

You do not need to know densities or weights; just notice that the blind works better.

40 years betting on improving

In a market where innovation often focuses on exterior design, Our bet remains the same as four decades ago: improve the product from within.

The new C-45M slat symbolizes that commitment. Does not change the essence of the roller blind, but it does increase its overall performance.

After four decades, we continue with the same idea: the quality is not in the first day of use, but in all those who come after.

And that's why, our standard is now higher.
